Kate, I loved this book so much - truly no one writes real characters like you and while I'm always in it for the romance first and foremost, I was literally breathless during the lost Kira scene and just how encapsulating of Sam's "daddy issues" it was...your writing is always so rich and complex and asks such interesting questions about love in all its forms. Another banger that will stay with me for a long time.
Thank you so much, friend! The scene where she gets lost was something that really happened, albeit at a holiday lights night at the botanical garden. All three of us went THROUGH IT!
I just discovered You, Again and read it in a 24 hour hazy binge while recovering from knee surgery... obsessed. I am still thinking about it. I had no idea there was a brand new book - but after gushing about how in love I am with it on Reddit, someone recommended Daddy Issues. I just finished it and I also adore it. I could relate to Sam as I spent a few years living with my Mom and Stepdad after college in my 20s and went through some similar trials and tribulations (minus the ๐ฅต Bearded Bruce Wayne, unfortunately) :-) You are so talented - the prose is so witty, the banter is fantastic. You manage to infuse so much depth in the writing. Iโm in awe. Thank you for these lovely novels ! I canโt wait to read more of your work! ๐ ๐ถ๏ธ ๐
PS Also a fun surprise that one of the characters shares my name w/ the same spelling. That is rare!
