Meet Daddy

Hello from an aggressively aesthetic hotel lobby in Austin, TX. One of my favorite things about hanging out in various hotel lounges is when middle aged business bros treat me with mild distain, not realizing I’m a bestselling author on a motherfucking book tour for something called Daddy Issues. 🤭

It’s pub day +2 for Daddy and the UK release day. Thank you so much for all the love you’ve shown my book baby this week. I’m struggling to keep up with notifications and timely responses, but I’m trying! If you’re subscribed to my newsletter you’ve probably already secured your copy of Daddy Issues, but let me also put you on to the audiobook because oh my god, I have gotten so many messages specifically gushing over the narration by Harley Quinn Smith.

Events

I had a wonderful time with my pals from Open Door Romance/The Novel Neighbor in St. Louis on Monday night and BookPeople in Austin last night. Thank you to my convo partners Susan Lee, Julie Soto, Lindsey Kelk x2, Melanie Sweeney, and Naina Kumar!

There are two more events this week at which I can induct you into my secret organization, Daddy’s Order of the Chili Pepper.

Friday at the Love, Magic, and Myth panel with Storyline Bookshop in Columbus with Ayana Gray and Emily Krempholtz.

Sunday at A Novel Romance in Louisville with Ali Hazelwood, which is sold out but you can order a signed book bundle.

I’ll also be in conversation with Liz Tomforde on her Atlanta tour stop Dec 4 (I think that one is sold out but maybe signing line only is still available?) and at another sold out event with the Fleuria in Gardena, CA on Dec 14.

And I’m happy to announce a new event on Dec 15 in Sacramento with Wild Sisters Book Co! This will be a fun party, not a sit-down panel discussion, with my pals Lindsey Kelk and Julie Soto, plus special appearances by Susan Lee, and Ali Hazelwood. (And hopefully a bonus special appearance by Tarah DeWitt?) We will have plenty of Daddy Issues themed games and activities. Who knows, maybe everyone can vote on my wedding dress options.

Future Events??

I’m definitely open to visiting more stores, but I’m also waiting to see how my employment situation shakes out, so stayed tuned

Signed Bookplates for Stores

If you already filled out my form for booksellers and didn’t receive bookplates, please let me know. I did have a mishap where I accidentally used poorly marked postcard stamps for one batch of envelopes and I have no idea what became of those mailings. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I did get a restock of bookplates and I’ll try to send more out when I get home next week.
